Sundalan branch Tiger, which has recently caught on camera is described as a new species of big cats.
After investigation by researchers from dermakot forest, Malaysia, leopard sundalan newly declared as an endangered species three years ago. This animal is one of the rare cat species. Two other cats are also quite rare jungle cat and the cat is red also briefly captured by the camera.
"This branch Tiger is one species elusive cat. They are difficult to find," said Andreas Wilting of the Leibniz Institute, Zoo and wild-research in Germany. During the 11 months to do the survey, only once they met by chance with a sundalan branch tiger ongoing in the path of their vehicle.
